My first noticbly bad marketing experience

I just purchased a dvd software program online, downloaded the trial as requested from a master email sent to me encouraging me to do so(By the way it thinks im overseas im in Australia and so is the seller)

Then I spot this classic marketing insert,
Anything short of your 5 Star 100% positive feedback back to us we consider to be a TOTAL FAILURE ON OUR PART because we want you 100% happy

Im thinking at this point, Hmm their very sales satisfaction customer orientated.

Anyway I cant get the trial to run my blue ray. Panacking I send another email, being very curtious that I was worried that I have purchased 32bit software by mistake as I am running a 64Bit computer.

Check out the two emails I got back

Dear im_buddha,

No, of course it won't. The trial version does not play Blu ray discs! A well known fact.

- simsmedianet

He suggested In his first email that I should download the trial to "get started early", but fails to tell me that the blu ray functionality that my sale required wont work on trial software, Instread I am insulted with a "Thats a well known fact. What an asshole.

It gets worse, I then get another email

Dear im_buddha,

I don't know what you are talking about. You haven't received the full version, yet you have already sent me two messages complaining that the trial version does not play Blu ray. I am of a mind to cancel the transaction, and not ship you anything, however you need to know that the trial version is NOT MEANT TO PLAY BLU RAY DISCS. This is because the trial version is not the Ultra version, and only the Ultra version (on the physical disc) plays Blu ray.
Sp what do you wish to do? Do you wish me to go ahead and ship the disc? I will do nothing until I have your response, one way or the other. I can assure you that the proper PowerDVD 8 Ultra plays Blu ray discs, and this is what I am selling, not a trial version. I do not sell trials.
Regards
Alan

The only thing he gets right in this email in that "he is of a mind" and may I say not a very good marketing mind.

He 1) Suggested I download the trial
2) Tells me Im stupid for not knowing all its functionalities

Ive just sent back an email, this is mine

Dear simsmedianet,

Sorry, I think I must have typed the email to quickly, I ment no offence.

I downloaded the trial as the link was on an email you sent me. When it wouldnt play I noticed from your add that it mentioned a 32 bit system, I have a 64 bit computer and have stuffed up being the wrong software before that is not compatible.

I now yours is the real product, my only query was will it run on my 64 bit.

Sorry for any confusion,

- im_buddha

Im polite and too the point and busting for his responce email back.

When I get my goods I will be educating him on customer realtions and buyers experiences( My text just taught me that)

Bye for now

PS Dont bother watching 10000Bc it was crap
