I just finished my ebay purchase and may I say it was a good experience in customer perception and confrontation. All email from him were to say, condensending. His tone was close to insulting. I made the mental decision that the only way to deal with the situation was use honey not salt if I was to get my purchase through. I agreed to pay for the upgraded model that would work on my computer.
It took me about email edicate, how a persons perceptions can be influenced by their content.
I just got an email from one of my clients I emailed yesterday, just asking a basic question but this will be my preferred means of contact that I shall push forward from now on.
Reading the chapter on customers I just read on their perceived value and this concept is very important. To get what I needed(customer need) and want(so I can watch my bluerays) I had to negotiate as I new in my best interest that the internet price was much cheaper than the stores.ice does pay an important role in our buying decisions.

just rang my 5 daily clients
Sent the email to confirm job done to one.
Chased up lost tax chq and then phone message to client.
Rang new client who has been to busy to ring me, he was wrapped to hear from me.
Sent email to George, also sounds quite happy.
Have decided from here forward that all clients shall be on my contacts and mobile never leaves my side. Customer communications are crucial.

My first noticbly bad marketing experience
I just purchased a dvd software program online, downloaded the trial as requested from a master email sent to me encouraging me to do so(By the way it thinks im overseas im in Australia and so is the seller)
Then I spot this classic marketing insert,
Anything short of your 5 Star 100% positive feedback back to us we consider to be a TOTAL FAILURE ON OUR PART because we want you 100% happy
Im thinking at this point, Hmm their very sales satisfaction customer orientated.
Anyway I cant get the trial to run my blue ray. Panacking I send another email, being very curtious that I was worried that I have purchased 32bit software by mistake as I am running a 64Bit computer.

I don't know what you are talking about. You haven't received the full version, yet you have already sent me two messages complaining that the trial version does not play Blu ray. I am of a mind to cancel the transaction, and not ship you anything, however you need to know that the trial version is NOT MEANT TO PLAY BLU RAY DISCS. This is because the trial version is not the Ultra version, and only the Ultra version (on the physical disc) plays Blu ray.
Sp what do you wish to do? Do you wish me to go ahead and ship the disc? I will do nothing until I have your response, one way or the other. I can assure you that the proper PowerDVD 8 Ultra plays Blu ray discs, and this is what I am selling, not a trial version. I do not sell trials.

Sorry, I think I must have typed the email to quickly, I ment no offence.
I downloaded the trial as the link was on an email you sent me. When it wouldnt play I noticed from your add that it mentioned a 32 bit system, I have a 64 bit computer and have stuffed up being the wrong software before that is not compatible.
I now yours is the real product, my only query was will it run on my 64 bit.

About to watch new in town
Im about to watch a dvd as I open my book, am going to add to an indepth summary that I started a few days ago.
Ive written a set of 5 challenges for myself tomorrow. People who I should ring but may not suspect it. I will gage their reaction and see what happens.
Anyway, the kids just told me that this movie is average which is abit of a disapointment, but

Time goals
Every morning, 7 to 9 is the time I will dedicate in the morning to my project. Two weeks tomorrow until the official start time so I am planning to get a head start.
Like I mentioned I have Ms. It is only in my spine but I recently got a definite Dx from my neuro after 18 years of him teeing me its not. Last Mri, lets just say he changed his mind. Started on meds, Betaferon 3 months ago. My body is only now getting over the side effects.
So why the marketing mission.
1) I failed the first time
2) I refuse to be defeated like that
3) I deserved it though
4) I really need to get my tax business from home moving. I dont tell my family a lot but my ability to walk is rapidly declining.
I have also expanded my interest to all thing tech entertainment. I try to game, World of War Craft, Love Blue ray Dvds, Foxtel ect ect.
Im home alot now with no real freineds as such, doesnt bother me but this is a good way of talking to myself without actually talking to my self. I am going to challenge myself to excel in all things marketing, test it on my small business and enjoy life. Slowing down at home now will hopefully slow that wheelchair down too.

Second Test
Another builder client rang me desperately seeking a Gst return refund. They were financially struggling and need to money to pay accounts. After speaking to the client I could see that she was stressed.
An hour later I decided to the ring the tax office and see how the processing was going. It was actually due to be but in their account any day.
I rang her to tell her I had folled it up and she was estatic, her closing words to me were"Shortly you must be due to send me a bill soon". Not often do you get a client wanting to pay for an account they dont even have. This particular client has told numerous of her friends to ring me. In betwwen her and the client who referred them to me I could say I have got 10 new clients.

Google may be struggling or it it just me
My first plan was to find the official blog of Philip Kotler, goggle brought up every link that used his name and any sort of marketing with the name blog in. Is the information highway become to cluttered?
From my initial re-reading customer satisfaction is the key, I expected google to hit it on the head, based on past experiences but I was not satisfied. I am going to reflect everything I read to a practable application to help me absorb this topic. Every day I will now pick up my newspaper and look at whose doing what concept is selling their product or service to see how its done.
Im going to take you back to an experience 2 weeks ago. Reading how a customer is satisfied I went upon a task that the next time my phone rang I was going to give superier service and look for a sign of satisfaction. I did this twice in the one day but I will tell you about the first.
Troy rang, an engineering business wanting advise about a factory loan we was thinking of taking out. I put all my efforts into evaluating what he wanted to achieve and the tax benefits or implications of all possible angles. It was good conversation and at the end I encouraged him to ring back and keep me up to date on progress. He was due to visit soon in the next few days to drop of his Gst return to be done.
two days later he rings to drop off the paperwork. I hear him pull in and saw him walking up the driveway with 2 coffees in his hand. On approaching the door step, Thank-you and hears your coffee. I was blown away. I got to experience a clients satisfaction and a visual display of it.
I was shore that this marketing subject was worth its while.

Its modern, black with spots on the side, has that instant trendy look and feel of using moderm graphics with color. On my first page it promotes the nwe myMarketingLab, a new online learning tool to support the book.
Ive just finished the usual 1 hour of frustratingly navigating through numerous screen to log in, finally lodged an online support query as It didn't like my user-name and password. Luckily it just sent me an email telling mw what I was suppose to be doing.
Lesson 1, for me. Dont rush, any that should possible refer to everything in life, find the time.
I'm going back to read the email again and page 1 determined not to miss a trick. I was just page flipping the text, getting impatient again when I read a section on the E text. I get an e copy of the book that is totally mine to manipulate, apparently I can copy and paste lecture notes right against the area they are discussing. I will be checking out exactly what I can do with the eText tomorrow.
Going to see if the Author Kotler has his on blog, im going to find out if he "walks the talk".
Anyway, this book is now my bible and will follow me at all times. I have 2 weeks before the course starts again so I plan to get as much research done as possible

Dinners done
Just had chicken with a mushroom cream sauce, very French to rich. I'm a veg-go so i had mine with potatoe.

I'm studying with open learning Australia. I'll give you an idea of how long my association with this crowd has been. I just had to update my enrollment to redo this subject. They asked my student number, it is 4464. The polite guy says, sorry madam you must be reading the wrong number, our numbers start with 6 digits. Scary hey, yes Ive been playing around with this study thing for possibly 15 years. But more on that later. Husband David has just called out, he hears the keyboard
and probably thinks Im on achat line to some guy. I think he forgets, I'm 46, old, not over ally attractive and have just been diagnosed with Ms. Poor bugger, he has no idea.

Looking at that N for marketing sent shudders down my spine. I always thought of this subject as one where you could literally rave on about a topic and if it had parts of the text in it you would pass.
That N made me feel sick, I felt nerve pangs and that buzzing feeling started in my body. I should have mantioned that I have MS.
I do study to keep me busy as its suppose to keep my mind thinking or active. Any way 5.10 pm,
Im going to start cooking the family meal, their all so lazy here!
I am repeating marketing which starts again on the first of March and goes for 12 weeks. Ive decided Im not a dumb ass, but probably a stupid one. Im going to apply every principal I learn to my very small accounting practice I have at home. Ms has slowed me down terrible but I still work from home as it suits me. I can do nas I wish, when I wish and as often as I want.
Of to think about my strategy(Hmmm thats a marketing word I can remember)
